I think a beautiful woman’s body is at first sexy. It can also be artistic…. it depends on who’s looking at it.

  1. The female body is a beautiful work ot art to be cherished and respected.

  2. I'll take "all of the above"

  3. Of course I think she should be respected by her husband in every way, but I also think the wife should return the favor. Woman are just as disrespectful toward the opposite sex as men are.

I've got a strong opinion about this, but it isn't meant for the photography section so I'll just leave it at that.

  4. i think what is artistic about a womans body is how sexy it is...f that makes sense.for example, ive seen some really beautiful photos of women in very sexy clothes--not skimpy, but ones that really enhance their figure...

  5. i agree they should be. but the fact is that girls are the ones that let them be viewed as sex toys. so the girl that acts like a sex toy will be a sex toy the girl who is classy and demands respect will get it. that simple

  6. I think that it's both - but I *don't* mean sexy as being raunchy or pornographic in nature. I mean sexy as in... I don't really know how to explain it, but I think that something that is artistically sexy is beautiful and, because of its beauty, is something that elicits a strong emotion in the viewer.

I agree with you when you say that women should not be portrayed as sex toys.

I guess, to sum my opinions all up - I think that the human body (not just a woman's, but a man's body, too) is artistic first, and I think that art can be sexy. =)

Edit - I also agree with Kate D.

  7. I don't really see "artistic" and "sexy" as mutually exclusive terms. Sure, some obviously smutty shot isn't quite artistic, but I've seen several tasteful, understated, artistic shots that are far more sensual than the obvious smut.

At that point, all that seperates the two is the intent, and it tends to show quite well. The female form is both aestheticly pleasing and for those who find women attractive, arousing. It is perfectly natural for the two to coexist.

And really, there are plenty of people, male and female, who are exhibitionists. Are you saying what they are choosing to do with their own body is wrong?

  8. The question had about 3 different questions in it, and not really relating to photography....

    So....um... "sure".
